Escape From Reality is thrilled to announce our latest project in collaboration with the Goshen Historical Museum: Main Street Mysteries! This unique, interactive walking game takes you on a journey through Goshen’s historic Main Street, unraveling the story of a daring heist from the 1940s.

Step Back in Time

Main Street Mysteries transports players back to the 1940s, a time when Goshen was a bustling hub and a sanctuary for gangsters looking to lay low. Our game centers around the fictional gangster, Victor “The Viper” Vane, who masterminded the theft of valuable war bonds. Despite his arrest, the bonds were never recovered—until now.

How the Game Works

Participants will start their journey at the Goshen Historical Museum, where they will receive their first clue: a newspaper article detailing Vane’s heist and capture. From there, players will visit various locations along Main Street, each holding a piece of the puzzle.

The Stops Along Main Street:

• The Nut Shoppe (formerly an appliance store): Discover hidden clues inside an old appliance.
• Fables Books (formerly Montgomery Ward department store): Find clues in a vintage book.
• Anna Flora Co (formerly a furniture store): Solve puzzles in antique furniture.
• Shirley’s Popcorn (formerly a cafe and saloon): Discover notes in an old table compartment.
