Why We Started Think Outside the Box

At Think Outside the Box, we believe that puzzles, games, and adventures have the power to bring people together. That’s why we launched our nonprofit: to create family-friendly, community-driven experiences that inspire creativity, teamwork, and a sense of wonder.

Our journey began with a simple question: how can we make a positive impact on our community while doing what we love—designing and running unique escape room games? The answer was clear. By turning our passion into a nonprofit organization, we could expand beyond just entertaining players. We could create opportunities for learning, bonding, and giving back.

Think Outside the Box now serves as the home for our mobile escape rooms, outdoor scavenger hunts, and other creative events. Each game we run supports our larger mission: fostering connection, encouraging problem-solving, and bringing joy to people of all ages. Whether it’s a school group tackling an outdoor adventure, a family celebrating a special occasion, or a community gathering to crack codes and solve mysteries, every experience helps fund our nonprofit’s efforts to make these moments accessible to even more people.

As we continue to grow, we’re excited to share the stories of how our games and events are making a difference.
